Are You Asking These Promotional Sales-Generating Questions?

I don't have to tell you that social media sites like Twitter, Facebook and Linked-In are hot. Even if you're not currently on the sites, chances are many of your customers are there.

This presents many sales opportunities for savvy promotional products sales professionals. Not only for you to get involved and increase your online presence, but also to help increase your customers’ businesses by driving traffic to their social media sites.

Many businesses now have Facebook Fan pages, and each day more are jumping in on the social media bandwagon. One challenge many businesses have is to attract more visitors to their Facebook Fan page. One smart strategy is to offer a free gift as an incentive to become a Fan of their business. As a promotional marketing expert, you can provide suggestions for the free gift.

Here’s a great tip from Bobby Lehew, social media expert, and the director of Robyn, a multi-million dollar promotional products company. Bobby was my guest expert on my monthly Selling Smarter call. He spoke to us about Social Media: Tactics That Deliver Results.

Below are two questions he suggests asking your current customers.

1. Does your business have a Facebook Fan page?

Use these questions to offer suggestions on how your customers can increase the number of "Fans" at their sites using an effective, targeted promotional gift. By the way, this strategy can work for getting visitors to any social media site.

Here's what I suggest you do now:

1. Contact your current customers and ask if they have a Facebook Fan Page.

2. If they have a page, become their Fan and follow what they are doing.

3. Give them suggestions for offering a free gift at their Fan Page.

4. Model what you’d like them to do by setting up your own Facebook Fan page. Offer a free promotional gift and marketing tips to everyone following your company.

3 "Hot" Healthcare Markets to Boost Your Promotional Products Sales

The national healthcare debate continues to dominate the news, regardless of which side of the fence you stand on, tremendous promotional marketing opportunities exist in this lucrative and growing market and your expertise is needed.

If you're not currently focusing on healthcare markets and issues here are 3 "hot"  ideas to get you started.
